Truck Bomb
It's been said that time slows during an explosion.
This track is my interpretation of the sound within the blast.
In reality it's a recording of a contact mic encased in a melting block of ice effected beyond all recognition.

Not a Jam.. but it's probably better!!
I wasted nearly an hour yesterday recording a few tracks for the site before I packed everything up for the move. I'm no longer using the tape deck (sadly coz it gave a really nice dirt recording) because it was listing heavy into the right channel and very little on the left. I realize there is a quick fix for this, but an even quicker fix was to use my minidisc recorder which is too often laying dormant.
So I dashed off a quick series of recordings only to realize that I had left the 1/8" jack in the out slot leaving me with nothing... not even some decent hiss to work with. With that I decided to pack everything up and take a break until I'm in the new place and everything is set up the way it should be.
THERE WILL STILL BE FREE SHIT THOUGH!!!
I'm going through the archives and taking old posts, chopping them up, taking the best bits and giving them new lives. Today's track will be the first.
Something nice will be sent to anyone who can tell me which track was selected to be reborn!

Packin' and Movin'
It's been a busy couple weeks around here. I just bought a house so everything is soon to be boxed up, moved, unboxed, and hopefully re-established in a short amount of time. I won't have access to any of my stuff for the next couple of weeks so the posts might be a little infrequent. Everything should be back up and running smoothly by the first week of December.
Two tracks this week. One's a droner, the other is more aggressive.

Fuck You Swine Flu
I grow so tired of hearing about this. The flu is a potential health risk.. every year. All the coverage on the major news networks is causing nothing but latent panic in an already too stupid population.
Thin the Herd.
Anyway... on to more important junk. I know some folks who pop by the site run small labels. If that happens to be you and you find something of interest here - let me know. It'd be great if some of these tracks were edited and remixed and mastered properly - either for a comp. or for a release of their own.
Get in touch.

Noodlin' Pt. 2 : WTF?????
A week or so ago I traded a few CDs for a true beast of a pedal. For an entire week it sat in my living room taunting me. "Just try and make me work, fucker".
This week's jam is all over the map. It's a Grendel Drone Commander run through this massive box that oscillates, modulates, filters.. everything. It's pretty awesome. I will apologize for the hamfisted-ness of this track. I was planning to make something in more of a creep drone for Halloween... instead you get this.
I should have some new toys soon. A couple new Crank mics and a AD Convulsion 2 ... maybe I'll do some vocal only recordings. Lucky you.
Also, I've been putting up links to some really cool blogs - some of note are Cassette Tape Superstar, Jellyfish Altar, Free Jazz From Slavery, and No Not Fun Not No.

Halloween's so close my teeth are beginning to hurt
I've been slack this week. I should have put up a track on Monday or Tuesday.. instead, here it is Friday night and I'm noise blogging.. sheesh.
I got some new toys & I'm beginning to work on a Christmas release - small run - 15 or so to give away to friends and those that have been White Dog's little helpers this year.
I may make a few more for trading purposes.. if you really really really want one .. send a note

Three Beggars
"You are the devil's gateway: you are the unsealer of that (forbidden) tree: you are the first deserter of the divine law: you are she who persuaded him whom the devil was not valiant enough to attack. You destroyed so easily God's image, man. On account of your desert - that is, death - even the Son of God had to die."
This week you get a half hour of chaos. I've been working on tracks for submission... I ran this track through some cycle '74 software filters to up the craziness quotient.

Drone Decay
Summer is really beginning to feel over. The temp. is still quite warm on the prairies, but the leaves are changing and it's getting darker earlier.
This week's comp. reflects the struggle as summer fights to stave off the unavoidable decay of autumn.

Playing with Broken Electronics
I have a broken version of the EHX Mini Synth.. no keys.. but lots of tones.
I was using it through a few pedals and touching different points of the circuit board to see what happened.
This week's post is pretty wanky... enter at your own risk.

History Lesson
From www.srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com
Did You Know? From 1992-95, Serbs constantly attacked Bosnian Muslim villages and towns around Srebrenica and burned alive scores of Bosniak women and children. Serbs never demilitarized around Srebrenica. In July 1995, Serbs perpetrated genocide: 30,000 Bosniaks were ethnically cleansed, while at least 8,100 Bosniaks were summarily executed and dumped into mass graves. Now You Know.
Two tracks - one using the Trauma Tone Torture Wheel the other using the Haunt Box. I am very happy with these - please download and share the sounds and the info.

End of Summer Jamz
I'm back to work on Monday so I'm enjoying the last few days of summer...
This week instead of one long track I'm posting two shorter ones.
The first features a broken EHX micro synth and the second is all about the Haunt Box.
I'm also working on a new release that has a couple of tracks from the blog along with a live track from the same time period. It'll be $5 US ppd - ed. of 50.. email to rsv a copy.

Mindless... Useless
Another week, another jam. I was preparing for a show with Kkrakk, Bomber, and RDC last weekend and kept getting more and more into Harvestman mode.
Here's another sick Casio creep called Mindless.. Useless (the first line bellowed on the great Breath Grenades' 1996 opus 'Space Rawk Replicas for a Thuggin' Tomorrow').

Harvestman
This week's jam features more SK-1. The Casio is run through 2 separate f/x chains causing all kinds of mayhem. This track also is the debut of a new project from White Dog called.. The Harvestman. I'm sure there will be some of those jamz posted here in the not too distant future.

Love Serve Remember
Still working on taming my Casio SK-1. I decided to mix 'n' match that with a early 70s recording of Ram Dass' radio show where he took listeners calls. It's all pretty groovy.
I really wanted to use the Ram Dass audio before I let the Love Serve Remember LP box go. This go round is a failed experiment as I think the spoken stuff is too loud and goes on a little too long. I am going to keep the recording for sample purposes and may break it out for a live set using temple bells and a sruti box. It's still fun to listen to all the comsic talk that goes on during the 20+ minutes of this track though.

This week's jam consists of 2 Rot Yr. Brains attacking one another through fuzz and delays backed by a modulated & echo purcussive track.
I wanted to use to 'beat' track as I am unsure of it's usefulness. I think it's a little too slow and a little to repetitive. Maybe if I speed it up it'll sound better. Your thoughts are always welcome on anything posted here.
